COVID-19 UPDATE: Please note that our Family Day Home program is still operating, and we have spaces available for families requiring shift and/or regular care. To promote physical distancing as well as personal safety, our office staff are working from home but are still available to assist you. Please email us at hhopp@reddeerchildcare.ca or ahawthorne@reddeerchildcare.ca for further information. Thank you and stay safe.
Since 1970, we have provided reliable and affordable child care services to the Red Deer community with the integral awareness that all children are unique. Red Deer Child Care offers a wide variety of programs, specifically designed to meet the diverse needs of modern households with children, ages 0 to 12.
Community Collaboration
For decades we have worked in conjunction with local agencies to improve access to care in the Red Deer area. We work with well-respected schools in the community – both Catholic and Public – using the facilities to operate a daycare, and school-age options.
Experienced Professionals
Our caregivers have qualifications in Early Childhood Education and undergo continuous professional training to supplement and update their knowledge. All staff and family day home providers receive thorough background checks and maintain up to date First Aid Certification. Our team is passionate about childcare – and it shows in everything from positive attitudes to the high standard of care they deliver.
Specialized Services
Proud to have our Pines Day Care be one of the 100 Early Learning and Child Care (ELCC) Centres able to offer services capped at $25/day, families benefit from this helpful feature which increases access to childcare through affordability. With numerous community partnerships, we offer your family a wide range of services, from programs honouring aboriginal ancestral culture, to kinder-care in schools; we work to fit your family’s individual needs.
Comprehensive Services
From daycares to family day homes, preschool programs to after school options, children are the most successful when the whole family is supported. Providing service to multiple age groups, we accommodate children as young as newborn and as old as twelve.
